FIRST-RUN BASICS

A few useful habits for a new run

  • Move in broad curves so groups trail behind and you keep room to change direction.

  • Focus on a core move before spreading level-up cards across several unfinished moves.

  • Leave marked ground areas before an attack lands; movement is your quickest way out of danger.

RUN STRATEGY

What to expect from a Pokémon survivor run

Every run is a set of small decisions made while the arena keeps moving. Pick a partner, avoid incoming enemies, collect experience, and choose the level-up option that helps right now. Since attacks happen automatically, you focus on routes and timing. Try to make each choice work with your current build before the open space disappears.

01

Keep a route open

Look for a path that leaves room to turn. A broad curve can keep a group behind you; a crowded lane can close off your next move. When a ground marker appears, leave its area early and head toward clear space.

02

Collect experience with a plan

Experience helps you reach the next level-up, but a distant pickup may require a risky detour. Check where enemies are gathering and collect drops along a safe route. One pickup is rarely worth crossing a dense group.

03

Give your build a direction

A card can add a move, improve one you have, or raise a stat. Check what the run needs: coverage for a crowd, health for recovery, or movement for more space. Focusing on a few useful upgrades keeps the build clear.

WHO IT IS FOR

Is PokeSurvivor a good fit for you?

PokeSurvivor is for players who enjoy survivor-style action built around movement. You guide your partner while equipped moves fire automatically. The challenge is choosing where to move, when to collect experience, and how to adapt at each level-up. Start with the game, then use the guide when you want more detail.

01

For movement-first action

Automatic attacks leave you free to read a busy screen and find a safe path. Watch the edge of a crowd, avoid marked areas, and keep room to change direction. A good route can matter as much as another damage upgrade.

02

For experimenting with upgrades

Each level-up lets you adjust the run. Strengthen a move you use, add another option when it fits, or take a stat boost to cover a weakness. There is no single recipe to follow; make the choices support the situation in front of you.

03

For Pokémon partner fans

Choose a partner from the in-game roster and see how its starting options shape your first choices. Pokémon partners and move types set the theme; the run loop stays clear: move, collect experience, upgrade, and adapt to the next wave.

PLAYING THIS HOSTED BUILD

Guest play, controls, and loading notes

This hosted build runs in the embedded browser game. It supports keyboard and touchscreen movement, and the standalone Play page opens the same game in a separate view. Guest access, account progress, and save behavior are specific to this site.

01

Start as a guest

You can start a run as a guest without signing in. Guest progress is not saved to a site account, and guest scores are not submitted to the shared leaderboard. Sign in to use account-linked features.

02

Use the input that fits your device

On a computer, use WASD or the arrow keys. On a touchscreen, drag across the game area to steer. If a phone shows a rotate prompt, turn it to landscape so you have more room to move.

03

If the game takes time to appear

The game loads its runtime and image assets before the start screen appears. If it does not advance, refresh the page once. If the embedded area still stays empty, open the standalone Play page to check whether the issue is limited to the home-page frame.
